Hello, hello! How was everyone’s Halloween?
FamilyRuns had lots of fun, dressed up as:
BabyRuns, however, could not be talked into wearing an espresso machine costume and went with the next best thing, a Power Ranger:
As for the spoils of the night, yet again we ended up with a candy surplus. That is, we now have more than I bought for trick-or-treaters – and when I tell you that was one ginormous $20 bag of candy, I truly mean it!
So I guess BabyRunner’s evening should be considered a success. Whether that’s the case for his mother is questionable. Anyone else having too much fun today with their kids’ bowl of fun-size candy bars?
Clearly, a run was necessary and I braved the mild drizzle to get in an easy four-miler.
And as if I needed another incentive, I wore my new, fresh off the mailbox Pro Compression calf sleeves.
Felt tight and pretty great, especially considering the sweet discount I got for them. [In the event that it still works: discount code SLEEVES at checkout, and those babies will be yours for $25 plus tax, shipping gratis!]
